¡Viva Chebama!

So, a guy who wants to close Guantanamo Bay is running an office in Houston where they proudly fly the flag of a brutal tyrant and the man who ran a prison there, by his own admission, he ordered thousands killed.

Y’know, I don’t mind that Barak Obama is such an unreconstructed leftist. I do mind that he’s treading very much the same dangerous populist and substance-free ground that’s been trod by other very charismatic men with a catchy slogan and mindless followers.

Don Surber and Ed Morrissey cover the ground almost sufficiently. It’s also worth reading this post from Henry Gomez at Babalu Blog. When you read Morrissey’s comment, pay attention to which leftist partisan lackwit is playing it off as no real big deal. A movement needs useful idiots like that.
