It’s Super Duper Schmooper Tuesday!

How about some Super Tuesday Blogging?

Right now, it looks like McCain’s going to run the east and northeast. Huckabee’s surged to several wins, but almost exclusively in the south. Romney is showing up strong in the west and the northern plains states. Mitt poached on McCain’s wins to grab Massachusetts and McCain returned the favor in Arizona.

At this point, California’s still too close to call. If the regional trends hold fast, it’ll go for Romney and we’ll have an even more interesting race. We’ll know a lot more in the morning because the states that Romney is picking up are not hitting the news on the East Coast until right about now, or even later. Come morning, and the results from California, things could look entirely different.

You can get the best roundups from
Jim Geraghty, Michelle Malkin, and the folks at Hot Air.

One of the most interesting contests tonight is in Georgia, which looks like it’s going for the Huckster, but I’m not completely sure that’ll hold. Robert McCain is blogging county by county, using those crazy Georgia-boy connections to bring you better coverage than the networks right now. What I’m finding interesting there is not that the Huckster is doing so well but that Johnny Mac is doing so very poorly. He’s running third, and not by a little bit in a state where one might think he’d be strong.
