No First Amendment for You, Gringo.
Constitution? What Constitution?
Everyone knows there is a line sometimes that can be crossed when it comes to free speech. And when free speech transforms into hate speech, we’ve got to draw that line. And that’s what we’re doing here today. And we need to make sure that network executives will hold their people accountable and not cross that line.
That’s from the head of the National Council of La Raza, a group of hispanic separatists whose name betrays its purpose.
Now I want to be clear about what she’s saying. She’s saying that she wants to restrict the Constitutional rights of American citizens on the behalf of people who are not only not American citizens but who break American law and steal from the American people on a daily basis. She wants to do this by driving folks like Beck and Dobbs off of the airwaves by demanding that the networks “screen” the people they put on the air beforehand, just to make sure that they’re not saying anything unapproved by La Raza.
Just so you know, she leads a group which, despite its statements to the contrary, has worked closely with the group called MECHA, to fund several schools that teach separatism and the reconquista. She is not working in the best interests of the United States in any way, shape, or form and her sensitivity about “hate speech” seems to have a very large and Mexican-shaped blind spot.
The best part of the story, though? Though she’s not endorsing any candidate for President per se, she did manage to find quite a few good things to say about one candidate in particular. You’ll never guess which Maverick she chose to praise effusively.
Still want him as your Presidential candidate, Republicans? Still think he’s the guy who can move this country in the right direction for the next eight years? Still think you’ll be able to fight his hare-brained schemes in Congress with that minority we have now? Hmm.
