New York Times Endorses 1 3/4 Democrats

So it’s endorsement time at the New York Times and, after rattling their Magic 8-Balls and asking the piercing questions such as which Republican doesn’t eat babies and small puppies and which Republican doesn’t make them projectile vomit at the mere sound of his name, the vaunted Times editorial board has bravely gone out on a limb and actually endorsed someone. Anyone want to take a guess at who the New York Times endorsed?

What? Did I hear someone kind of mumble the word “maverick”? Speak up!

Was that a John McCain? Well…

Winner winner chicken dinner!

Don’t waste any time reading the endorsement., It’s a wicked construct of boilerplate anti-Republican fiction, Bush derangement mania, teenage crush love, and purest venom for every other Republican in the race. And considering that the Times apparently did McCain a real solid not that long ago, it’s no real surprise that he’d get the board’s wet sloppy kisses.

Read instead this piece in the Washington Times called McCain vs. McCain. It’ll be difficult to take McCain seriously on very much afterwards.

Ok…so the NYT might endorse McCain over Hillary??? _Suuure they will.

How about a Clinton/McCain ticket? I kind of thought that if McCain didn't win the Republican nomination that a McCain/Lieberman ticket might be a possibility, but now I see I was aiming too low…!
