Mexican immigrants are the most conservative voting bloc in recent history. Recent Pew studies show they are to the right of most Republicans on values, family, and patriotism. Sadly, closed minded conservatives will push this important voting bloc into the Democratic Party. McCain and Hernandez is our only hope of keeping conservatives in power. Otherwise, we will lose this election and follow California trend into the Democratic column after they passed similar anti-immigrant laws. Juan's job with Vicente Fox was to get him elected, and, he did a fine job. I was an International Observer during that election with Jimmy Carter and a bunch of others, curious about the coming change. McCain is trying to get elected and has picked Hernandez for his smarts. Smart he is. And, just because Hernandez has a border agenda, it doesn't mean that agenda is harmonious with McCain's. If McCain is interested in the Hispanic vote, Hernandez is the perfect go-to guy. Having assisted in bringing about the most significant change in Mexico in the last hundred years, he'd be the guy I'd hire. Yes, I do know Juan Hernandez.
