Soros Was Behind the Lancet “Study”
Here’s a big shocker. George Soros coughed up about half the money that funded the ridiculous Lancet study. The study said that about 650,000 Iraqis had died since 2003 as a result of the war. The Lancet numbers were about four times what the next largest number was and came under fire for some pretty shoddy methodology.
Now, it seems, that the anti-war Soros who has dedicated his entire fortune to unsuccessfully driving George Bush out of office (and whose money funds most of the most vocal leftist internet sites and think tanks) was writing a really big check. The folks behind the study say their work is solid. Hopefully, no one was standing in front of their rapidly-growing noses when they uttered that laughable little line.
