I never think about Ron Paul unless I see him on TV or see something in the press or on the web. Why is he driving everyone else nuts,

and seemingly dominating their thinking 24-7.

Paul is knat in a room full of elephants, get over it. 99% of the American people do not have a clue who this guy is.

The more you harp about this guy the bigger his audience becomes. You are making him what he is.

Please do not tell me how dangerous he is potentially, or compare him to Hitler or some other dictator who also was once a knat in the room. That argument won't wash. And if it does the American people are as goofy as those of you who see him under your bed at night.

The American people are goofy I'll agree, but not that goofy.

1) So, he's either a cynic or a hypocrite. The fact is that at least three members of congress this latest budget put in no earmarks at all. All of them have spoken quite soundly against earmarks and oppose them fervently. They stood on principle. Paul did not. Live with it.

2) Ah, so it was just his first impression? Nice.

3) No, they don't. Look it up.

4) Yes, we can. Look up the words "self defense". Also "cease-fire".

5) And yet he's keeping their campaign donation. Hmm…what is it with his habit of saying one thing about money and doing another?

The reason he had to use "the system" the way he did was because that money was being taken away from his district and the only way to alleviate the problem was to use the broken system. he ended up never voting for an earmark in his career.

he said he didn't mean to call the commercial fascist. they told him their was a cross in the commercial and what he thought of that. he answered with the sinclair lewis quote because that is what it reminded him of.

the american taxpayer does pay for all of our foreign expenditures.

we can't use our military for war unless congress declares it.

He did denounce those views. did you watch the pbs now documentary? he has actually denounced every single one of those views at different times.
