Fred Thompson has a thing or two to say about the “silly hat” story and it’s pretty funny.

Bob Owens also reports that he’s not heard back from The Politico on his request for clarification. Roger “What, Me Accountable?” Simon hasn’t responded to my request either. It looks like, right now, the folks at The Politico are doing their best mime impressions. Maybe they should work on a new routine. They could call it “Writing stuff that actually happened”.
