According to this story, the Colorado gunman “hated Christians”. I wonder, now, if this will be investigated as a hate crime. I also wonder if the MSM will lay off the baseless criticism of Christians now that we have some deadly anti-Christian backlash?
You may remember that immediately after 9/11, the MSM embargoed most images of that day lest there we start stringing up Muslims from every light post in Blue State America. This far, I’ve yet to see a story about a Muslim killed because of 9/11 or the Bali bombing or the Madrid bombing or the London bombing or Daniel Pearl’s beheading or Nick Berg’s beheading or…you get my point. One would think that we might have seen at least one mosque-shooting, but we have not and I’m very glad for it. It demonstrated that we are not the mouth-breathing, hate-filled, xenophobic rubes the MSM and the left thinks most of us are.
Let’s hope the media will now extend Christians the same sensitivity it has shown Muslims for six years.

UPDATE: Definitely a hate crime. Why were his threats so ignored bythose who read them? Probably because anti-Christian hate is pretty much chuckled at. After all, you can see a lighter version of it just about anytime you want in a movie theater or on television. It’s prevalent, so it’s not much of a reason for concern, right.
Well, no. Not anymore. Not after this week. The anti-Christian garbage has got to stop.

The MSM is comprised almost entirely of non-practicing Christians, Jews, and atheists projecting their own self-revulsion onto people who are better than they are.
They realize their own mediocrity, and lash out.
If you read the article you linked to, the shooter wanted to be a Christian missionary. The quote that he “hated Christians” came from an anonymous law enforcement official who was, uh, wrong.
It really does help if you read what you link to. Like the giant headline that says “Church shooter wanted to be missionary”.
It’s not possible to develop a burning hatred for something you once held in high esteem? Huh.
