She Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe.

When, exactly, did Hillary Clinton Barry White?

I’m not a hundred percent sure about this, but I don’t think a Presidential candidate has used the “Nah, baby. You’re special! Those other votes meant nothing to me. You’re the one for me, baby.” gambit in their campaigns since Thomas Jefferson bested Aaron Burr in 1800 with the immortal “C’mon, baby, you know I love you” campaign tour (which shouldn’t have come as a surprise since George Clinton became his Vice President in 1805). We might need to call in Doris Kearns Goodwin on this, just to make sure.

Meanwhile, The Anchoress says, “‘Madam’ President doesn’t work if the president sounds like a real madam.” Ed Morrissey wants to know when the Clinton campaign hired Scott Ott as campaign manager.

What I want to know is who in that campaign thought that this would be a winning slogan, considering the man to whom she’s married. I mean, does Bill Clinton’s wife really want to be bringing attention to the subject of whomp chicka BOW WOW with him still roaming the countryside?
