Something to Celebrate? What Are You, A Republican?

Christopher Hitchens says, “Bin Ladenism in Iraq has been dealt a stinging defeat. Surely this is something to celebrate.”

You’d think that, wouldn’t you?

You’d be really, incredibly, colossally wrong. Obviously crushing the Islamist forces of al-Qaeda means that George Bush did something right and that maybe, just maybe, there might be something to this whole “Free Arabs in Iraq” thing of his just might work out. If you really thought that was worth a little cheer, then you’re just one of those delusional folks that can’t see just how close you are to falling under the thrall of the fascistic Chimpy McBushHitlerburton and his American Taliban.
