The Fix? It’s In.

There was the 13,854th Democratic debate on CNN last night that apparently caused a bit of drama. Seems that during the last debate, Tim Russert got a bit feisty with Hillary Clinton (and by “feisty” I mean, “asked her questions”) and that brought out her attack dogs at Media Matters who threatened to stomp on Wolf Blitzer’s petunias if he did anything as vile as ask her some actual questions.. Also, she was apparently roughed up a bit by her male counterparts because she was a girl. Or something like that.

Obviously CNN couldn’t take the extreme step of asking questions of her like she was a Republican. How else could they look their fellow journalists in the eye at the Inauguration parties they’re expecting to attend in January, 2009. So they planted a nice softball question about whether she preferred diamonds or pearls (I’d say she’s wear whatever her shady contributors bought for her).

And, as if that weren’t quite enough, CNN took a couple questions from just plain, normal, ordinary citizens who weren’t in any way political activists because if they were, a responsible and ethical journalistic outfit would have told us.

At least they didn’t pack the hall with Clinton supporters who applauded her answers and booed the other candidates, so that’s good.

Wait…what? Never mind.

But we’re supposed to believe that the MSM isn’t foursquare behind the Democrats, right?

Right.
