The Eyes Have It

I find articles like this really interesting. There was a recent study that studied how folks view web sites: things like what catches and keeps their attention, in what direction they read, what sort of graphics tend to get glanced over and what gets a closer look. Some of the findings were a bit of a surprise to me.

With these tips in mind, though, perhaps you all can give me some things you do and don’t like about the site here. I’d like to continue to improve The Shack, and a big part of that involves making it more comfortable for you to read. So, what do you think? How does The Shack measure up to the tips in the article?

Well, I'm not trying suck up, but I like it the way it is.

That's a good thing to hear. I am concerned, at times, that it might be too "busy" for the casual reader. I want to be able to present a lot of information, in both short and long forms, in easy to access places, but I don't want that desire to clutter the page.

That and since I found a very quick kand easy way to put graphics on posts, I want to make sure that it works for you guys. I like pictures, but I don't want them to detract from anything.
