Last Month, George Washington University President Steven Knapp said this:
“We do not condone, and we will not tolerate, the dissemination of fliers or other documents that vilify any religious, ethnic, or racial group,” Knapp said in the release. “This flier does not represent, in any way, shape or form, the views of the administration of GW.”
Boy, that’s some real fire right there. I sure hope the folks who fessed up to it got their comeuppance!
The University punished students involved in a controversial poster campaign with disciplinary probation and a $25 fine each, according to documents given to The Hatchet.
Wait. What happened to all that “will not tolerate” stuff?
From here, it looks like all the tough talk happened when the culprits were thought to be a baby-eating, gramma-starving, Muslim-bullying, puppy-kicking conservative group who dared to bring a speaker to campus to talk about Islamists and why we shuoldn’t simply allow them to celebrate their diversity by cutting our heads off or blowing us up.
When it turns out the real culprits were a bunch of anti-war leftists who broke the rules with premeditation, a tiny fine and a stern “we’ll keep our eyes on you rascals” does the job.
