The work to recreate: M.C. Escher’s “Relativity”

The medium: LEGO blocks.

The outcome: Pretty Darned Spectacular.

Amazing, isn’t it? Click Lipson’s link to see how he did it and, while you’re there take a look at some other Escher works he’s reproduced in the same way. He’s done “Belvedere”, “Ascending and Descending”, “Balcony”, and “Waterfall” as well (thought the last one involves a bit of trickery). It truly is some exquisite and detailed work he’s done.
