Sandy Berger: New National Security Crook?
Sandy Berger, who stole highly classified terrorism documents from the National Archives, destroyed them and lied to investigators, is now an adviser to presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton
Not only is Berger a criminal who should not be trusted with sensitive information but he’s also an abject failure who, as President Clinton’s National Security Adviser, essentially ignored the growing Islamic threat of al-Qaeda.
I have an idea, though. Since he’s likely talked at-length with Senator Clinton, let’s ask her exactly what documents Berger stole and destroyed and why he did so. It’ll be a fit test to gauge how serious she is about our national security.
