Media Matters has plainly denied any connection to the Senator but her statement is pretty unequivocal. She claims to have started Media Matters and, since they’re pretty obviously carrying her water, that could put her in really hot water on campaign finance grounds.
I think that McCain-Feingold is an festering pile of dung that amounted to the biggest restriction of our First Amendment rights in my lifetime, but if she supported it (and she did) then that’s her petard and I’m not going to cry if she’s hoisted by it.
It’s kind of nice now to see the the Clinton/Soros machine getting some light shone on it. I seriously doubt we’ll see any real MSM voices chime in on it, but it’d be nice if they showed just a little curiosity.
