At Least He’s a Major Candidate on the Hypocrisy Scale.

| October 1, 2007 | Comments (2)

Glenn Reynolds notes that Ron Paul has raised 3 million dollars in the third quarter of this year for his Presidential Campaign. Reynolds asks if we can still continue to call him a “minor candidate”.

I’m kind of wondering if he’ll campaign long enough to pay back the 400 million dollars worth of pork he gobbled up from American taxpayers. His followers make much of a John McCain quote that called him the “most honest man in Congress“. I think he’s just another pork-loving politician and a rank hypocrite to boot.

Thanks for putting your utter lack of understanding and your brazen ignorance on display.

Ron Paul did not "gobble up" 400 million dollars. He made earmark requests for his district, and VOTED AGAINST the spending bills.

By the way, he raised more than $3 million this quarter. Compare that to Huckabee who can't even raise $1 million in a quarter.

Cameron, if what you’re telling me is true, then he’s not just a hypocrite, he’s a rank cynic, too.

That or he was for earmarks before he was against them.
