Nature, Nurture, or Great Big Rocks?

Incident to Mad Mahmoud’s claim of a gay-free Iran, Jeff Goldstein delivers the question of the week:

Is this a scientific anomaly based on some sort of Persian resistance to chemical differences in the brain? Or were, like, stones involved?

Perhaps the inquiry-loving minds at Columbia University can start looking into that. I imagine it would generate a heck of a paper. I imagine they’d inquire at the “I guess it’s OK with me” department at the White House for that research grant.
