there were/are millions of Iraqis in exile, but no Mandelas or Washingtons there too. Maybe it has to do with the culture. You can't sit around and condemn Islam and it's legacy but then imagine there are budding humanitarians and democrats abounding just because you want it to be.

I really do not think there are any decent journalists left in this country. This is a prime example. No one should be surprised by this. I've seen so many quotes taken out of context on BOTH sides that it really does just boggle the mind. Bush is however, their favorite target because you know, he's just a stupid idiot. Just wish he'd fight back more.
