“Harry Potter and the 12th Imam”
I hear in this version, Mad Eye Mahmoud is the hero and smites the infidels but good.
TEHRAN — Iranian translator Parto Eshraq is currently working on the translation of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series of novels written by British author JK Rowling.
According to Eshraq, he still has the two final chapters to complete and then it will be published by Nahid Publications.
Other notable changes in the book after the jump.
- In Chapter Three, Hermione is stoned to death by her Muggle parents for being seen in public with Harry and Ron.
- Lord Voldemort’s first name is really “George” and uses the word “strategery” more than you’d expect.
- The entire house of Hufflepuff is purged because they are “dirty Jewish Pigs”.
- Mad Eye Mahmoud’s favorite spell? Expecto Jihadum!
