If by “Bipartisan”, You Mean…

So, when the Democrats aren’t rooting for more corpses in Iraq, they’re supposed to be working on bipartisan something or another. It’s hard to keep track of Nancy Pelosi’s promises like it’s hard to keep track of pellets in a shotgun shell a second after it’s been fired. I do remember something about a “spirit of bipartisanship”, though.

I suppose she said “spirit” because she’s killed bipartisanship deader than a rock and the ghost of bipartisanship is all that’s left to roam the corridors of the Capitol like Nearly Headless Nick. I suppose we can give her half credit on that promise because she hasn’t yet called in an exorcist (though I expect one to show up shortly, the way she’s going).
