“In July, Peas Grow There.”

One of the funniest things I’ve ever heard on radio is the now-famous blooper reel where Orson Welles berates his producer, the script, the writers, and the world in general while recording a commercial for peas. Once upon a time, it was revived in Animaniacs form, with Pinky and The Brain taking the places of the hapless producer and Welles, respectively. It was one of the funniest moments on televion because Maurice LaMarche, the voice of The Brain (among many others) did such a pitch-perfect imitation of Welles, down to the irritated grunts. It’s frustrated me a little that I haven’t been able to share that episode, called “Yes, Always” with my friends because I’ve not seen it rebroadcast (or maybe it had been and I just missed it). SinceAnimaniacs isn’t running in syndication anywhere, for some completely insane reason, the chances of them running across it again area slim.

But good ol’ YouTube has come through once again.

“Yes, Always” after the jump.
