So, There’s this Concert…
As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, today is the Al Gore’s Travelin’ Emission-a-thon we also know as the Live Earth concerts. There’s plenty of nuttiness happening and Sister Toldjah is recapping it as fast as she sees it. Check her thread for the latest hijinks from the Wonderful World of Warming.
My views on the whole Church of Global Climate Change are pretty obvious. The shame of this whole thing is that there are good people who are working on the environmental stuff that really does matter. They’re not doing the sexy work of saving the planet from a ginned-up threat. They’re just doing the actual science that will tell us where we’ve been and where we are likely to go. They’re the ones inventing the technologies that will help us regulate our environment in ways we can’t imagine right now.
They aren’t getting the press, hence the support and money, they should because Al Gore and his Eco Apostles are stealing every bit of their thunder. The Inconvenient Truth is that Gore’s doing a lot more harm right now than he is good.
