The Best Money Can Buy

Okay, so first Hillary Clinton retains some black political leaders in South Carolina who, just by coincidence, give her ringing endorsements while failing to mention they were pulling down crazy money every month from her campaign. Said Jackson, “It’s not about the money…”

Then, it came out that for five years the Senator failed to disclose her leading a family charity that disbursed well over a million dollars to former political friends and allowed her and her husband to write off about 5 million dollars on her taxes. Her office called it an “oversight”.

Now (via HotAir), she’s managed to bag the endorsement of former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack. She’s also going to help pay off a $400,000 campaign debt Vilsack owes. The two, Vilsack’s folks pinky-swear to us, are not related. Even a little.

I have to wonder just how strong Clinton’s policies are, when she prefers to shell out millions of dollars to buy endorsements and pay off political buddies instead of earning their allegiance honestly. I also have to wonder why she’s so bad at keeping stuff like this hidden. You’d think with her experience, she’d be better at it.
