All is explained about the attraction in one of my recent posts. A lot of folks (mostly white liberals) long for a candidate who can speak authentically across the racial divide. I don't believe that Barack Obama is that candidate (and neither do a lot of old-line black pols) but a lot of white newspapermen and TV folks do. That would be the Illinois State Senate, Jimmie.
