The 2006 Weblog Awards: The Finalists are Announced.
They’ve announced the finalists for The 2006 Weblog Awards and it looks like The Shack has broken it’s two-year streak.
I didn’t make it, folks. Sorry ’bout that. I’d guess my best chance would have been in my particular ecosystem category (501 to 1000 blogs) because there’s no chance in the world that the low-rent, low-traffic blogger that I am is goig to show up in any of the “Best in Show” categories. I have to say that I’ve honestly never heard of any of the blogs that made the final list in that category. Then again, I’m relatively sure that none of them have heard of me either.
On the other hand, three blogs I thought would make great finaists did make the cut. They deserve your attention and your votes!
Sister Toldjah scored another finalist spot in her Ecosystem category.
My friend Gennie at Dizzy Girl also bagged another shot at the prize, this time in the Best Diarist category.
Right now, those are the only endorsements I intend on making. The big bloggers can take care of themselves and I’m just not very familiar with most of the other blogs in the ecosystem lists.
But Gennie and Sister Toldjah are rock-solid bloggers, good writers, and they ought to win their groups.
