Was the Imam Arrest a Stunt?

The Minneapolis Imam story has taken one more step thanks to Richard Miniter, the newest editor of Pajamas Media. He has obtained a public-release of the official police report on the matter (which includes several witness statements), as well as a statement from “Pauline”, one off the passengers aboard the plane.

It was “Pauline” to whom I referred in this post. She was the one interviewed on the radio.

Miniter believes the Imams were testing the security on the plan in order to weaken it. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable theory, given when we know happened from the eyewitness reports. He calls it a “stunt” and I think that’s pretty accurate. The Imams had the story out to the media and a lawyer lined up in pretty quick order. I think they knew they were going to cause trouble and were ready to make the best propaganda use out of it.

Give the PJM link a little time to load. It’s been getting a ton of hits since it was posted yesterday.
