I am amazed at how cavalierly some in our media treat the practice. I would much prefer that there be a term to describe what happens less sterile than "partial-birth abortions". There are media outlets that won't even use that phrase because it's too loaded a term for them. It is a horrible, vile, cruel and inhumane practice. The current discription of the practice being thrown around in the media does not begin to tell the truth of what actually happens. I will live with the horror and guilt my entire life. I have debated with myself whether to tell my story or not. I have so much shame that it is difficult for me. I believe that this practice must be stopped. The exception for the life of the mother is a given but it must not be allowed for any other reason.
