Like a Pig in Slop, so Is Linda Greenhouse to Bias.
Some of you might remember my post about how Linda Greenhouse, the lead reporter covering the Supreme Court for the New York Times, has no problem whatsoever being highly opinionated on matters she routinely reports on.
Today, she has an article reporting on a partial-birth abortion case that’s being heard by the SCOTUS. You’ll not be surprised to know that the article is chocked-full of bias and distortion. Again.

I've got a personal experience with late term abortion. It is a horrible, vile, cruel and inhumane practice. The current discription of the practice being thrown around in the media does not begin to tell the truth of what actually happens. I will live with the horror and guilt my entire life. I have debated with myself whether to tell my story or not. I have so much shame that it is difficult for me. I believe that this practice must be stopped. The exception for the life of the mother is a given but it must not be allowed for any other reason. There are thousands of couples waiting to adopt babies.
Miss C, you know of course that you never need reveal anything you do not think you should. I am amazed at how cavalierly some in our media treat the practice. I would much prefer that there be a term to describe what happens less sterile than "partial-birth abortions". There are media outlets that won't even use that phrase because it's too loaded a term for them.
I agree with you completely. it is a barbaric pratice that should only occur to save the mother's life when it is in immediate danger.
