Hugo Chavez Takes His Solo in the UN’s Opera Buffo
Hey, he even looks like Pagliacci, doesn’t he?
So, it appears that we have seen once again that if you give a despot the stage at the UN, he’ll sing a few verses of “Let’s All Hate America”, wave his Noam Chomsky book like he was at a MoveOn.org rally, and use the word “imperialist” like he was the second-coming of Nikita Kruschev.
This is news? Really?
I rather thought that’s what third-rate banana republic dictators did. Otherwise, what are they going to do with their time? I mean, you can only use your Citgo money to oppress your people so many days out of the year. Do it too often and you end up facing a firing squad and they make a musical that one day stars Madonna.
No one wants, that. Really.
Actually, I thought it was rather comforting that even while he was railing against the horrible America, he was waving a Noam Chomsky book. At least we know that the buffoonish anti-Americans here and abroad are drinking from the same fountain of crazy. The other ones – the ones we actually have to pay some attention to – are reading different authors entirely.
I think that our Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton (who, by the way, still has yet to be confirmed to the position – an oversight that ought to shame those Democrats trying to squeeze the last few drops of political advantage out of him and his ever-so-threatening moustache), had by far the best comment. He noted that Hugo Chavez was free, of course, to say whatever he wanted to say since he was in America and all but that it was “…too bad the people of Venezuela don’t have free speech.”
Darn that John Bolton, always wanting to throw cold water everytime the leftists want to trade anti-American yuks with an oppressive despot.

Noam Chomsky's daughter in law was my supervisor at the library up until a year ago. I could say a lot about that, but I am at work and she still works here, although a lot downgraded from her former position. The whole group of the Chomsky's are like most leftists and have no personal integrity whatsoever. They talk about peace and love and brotherhood with the people of distant lands, while they treat those close to them like shit! Talk about oppression, I had me a cushy seat by a window and Mrs Chomsky Jr took it away and put my ass in a cubicle! She probably herd that I was a Republican. I hates all the Chomskys, except for Baby Chomps, who is only 2 and cute to die for!
