Another Terrorist Murder Plot Foiled

British police have arrested 21 Israelis who planned to blow up as many as ten flights from the UK to the US in response to the ongoing indiscriminate killing of Israeli citizens by Hezbollah rockets and the international community’s lack of action to disarm Hezbollah as demanded by the UN Security Council…

No. Wait. That’s not the story.

Here’s the story:

WASHINGTON (CNN) — British and Pakistani authorities joined forces to block a plot to bomb U.S.-bound airliners, officials said Thursday.

British police acted urgently overnight, arresting 21 people who were plotting to carry liquid explosives onto as many as 10 jetliners in what U.S. government officials said privately could have been the biggest terrorist attack since 9/11.

Who were the men?

Indications are that all of the 21 arrested were British citizens and some were of Pakistani ethnicity, a senior U.S. intelligence official said.

Though authorities have not apparently relased this information (at least not that I can find in any news story, including this one, that didn’t even have the Pakistani bit), I feel pretty darned confident in predicting that all 21 men were Muslim, that they attended radical Muslim mosques, that all or most of them had given some open indication in the recent past of their hate for the West and America and Britan specifically, and that some of their Muslim neighbors and friends had some inkling that they were up to something, but refused to report it to the authorities.

In the meantime, we have more evidence that the Islamist movement is alive and well and still seeks to murder us, the better to bring about our surrender into dhimmitude and to hasten the establishment of the global Caliphate.

Chances are, you won’t find the word “dhimmi” or “caliphate” in any news story on this arrest, today or in the future.

CAIR, predictably, has released a statement, which includes these hard to believe words:

American Muslims have consistently condemned all acts of terrorism, whether carried out by individuals, groups or states. We repudiate anyone or any group that plans or carries out a terrorist act.

Which explains why as many as five members of CAIR have been arrested and convicted on terrorism-related charges. I do not think that “repudiate” means what they think it means.
