Jimmie has paid me the ultimate compliment,

by inviting me to guest blog for him. I am mindful of the courtesy he is paying me to have asked me to do this. Although Jimmie and I are of the same ideological bent, I realize that we have different writing styles. I hope I don’t chase anyone off. Please bear with me, and we will see where this goes. Jimmie employs a high degree of professionalism in his research and writing, and I admire him for it. I will try to uphold his journalistic standards while he is away. If I am not able to, or if I am not to your taste, please don’t hold it against Jimmie and check back in 2 weeks. Jimmie will return. I don’t want to lose his audience for him.
