More Iraqi Documents = More Proof of WMDs

Captain Ed has been doing yeoman’s work thee past few months staying on the ongoing translation of several thousand documents from the Hussein regime seized by our forces shortly after we toppled the tyrant.

Nearly every new document shows just how devoted to WMD programs Hussein was and how active Iraq was in pursing that devotion.

This week alone, we see documents referring to:

1) Multi-million dollar expenditures for chemical weapons in 2002.
2) The presence of an active “Anthrax Operation Room” in 2002.
3) An analysis from the infamous “Dr. Germ” on using aircraft to spread biological weapons and a progress report on how far the Iraqis had progressed toward that goal.

That’s just this week.

The more we get document translations like these, the more we see that Saddam Hussein not only was fully prepared ot rev up his WMD programs but also that the programs he did have were quite active despite UN inspections and the threat of war.
