Giving a Killer the Megaphone.
Excuse me, folks, but can someone tell me when the hell is became kosher to give prime editorial space in a major national newspaper to an avowed terrorist who is an indicted and deported criminal? When did it become okay to give the “Grandfather of CAIR” and the founder of the Holy Land Foundation, an organization long-known to fund the targeted killing of women and children such a lofty position on the op-ed page?
I could care less that he belongs to a group that now runs the Palestinian Authority. He trucks will cold-blooded killers, supports their murderous ways, rejoices in the deaths of innocents. Period.
Shame on you Washington Post for giving this man a forum. He ought to be condemned for the murderer he is. Instead you have given him the chance to appeal to millions of Americans without the faintest indication from you about who he really is.
Before I go, let me give you an indication of what Abu Marzook has to say.
As the Israelis value their own security, Palestinians are entitled to their fundamental rights to live in dignity and security. We ask them to reflect on the peace that our peoples once enjoyed and the protection that Muslims gave the Jewish community worldwide.
That last sentence, folks, is an outright lie and it has no place in any newspaper, except to be rebutted firmly.
Muslims protected the Jewish community? Was that before or after the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem started riots against the Jews in the Middle East by telling Muslims that they defiled mosques, including the most important al-Aqsa Mosque? Was that protection granted before or after the Grand Mufti, uncle of Yasser Arafat, sided with the Nazis? Was that before or after Muslims in the Balkans formed the infamous “Handschar Division” of the SS? Was that before or after five nations launched an attack on the infant Israel the same day the UN granted it independence?
When, I ask you, the liar Abu Marzook, have Muslims ever granted the Jews peace and protection?
Never. It has never happened in the history of the world. It is appalling that he feels free to draw on a history that never existed in order to beg support for his government of killers.
Marzook wants his people to have the right to pursue their own destiny, and so they have. They have turned Gaza into a wasteland in the period of a few short months. They wrecked the greenhouses that provided food. They destroyed the infrastructure that provided light and water. They have made their destiny thus far, and it a destiny of ruin, anger, and murder.
We will continue to let them pursue their destiny, though, because we do honor elections, even if we do not agree with the result. But we will not let them pursue that destiny flush with the money of free Americans. Abu Marzook may lie to his heart’s content and spin a picture of a Palestinian Authority that never existed, but that will not change the fundemantal truth that his people have chosen poorly in him and his organization.
And so has the Washington Post.

Category: Fighting the Islamists, Oh, THAT liberal media.

See, I wouldn't have even linked to the editorial. In my opinion, that is just continuing to propogate someone that I believe shouldn't have an outlet in the first place.
I wholeheartedly agree that he shouldn't have an outlet, and yet he does. Somehow, the Post thought that giving this accomplice to attempted genocide some prime editorial real-estate would be a cracking good idea.
I think folks ought to know what lies are being peddled with the assistance of one of the largest newspapers in the world.
A platform of lies
Why does the Washington Post support Israel’s enemies?…
