Democrats.com, a web site started by two “veteran Democratic consultants” has decided to dive right into the hypocrisy.
The site is asking for people to purchase the personal phone records of a couple dozen Republicans, to publicize the results, and to pay for them, if necessary.
This, of course, in retaliation for the so-called domestic spying program the Federal government has been running since…well…the 1990s.
Odd that now, when the President’s name has an “R” behind it, they’re excited about it. But that’s not important, they’d no doubt say. Not important at all.
Despicable? Without a doubt. Predictable? Not to most sane minds. Then again, I’m really beginning to believe that a whole lot of people have come completely unhinged since 2000. I’m entirely serious about that.

In apparent “retaliation” for the President’s authorization of warrantless wiretaps in order to eavesdrop on conversations between people alleged to have ties to terror, Democrats.com is encouraging its readers to spy …… …
I thought I was to the “left” until I went to Democrats.com. I was shocked by the hate propaganda and factual distortions I found posted there. Even more shocking is their tendency to label as a “troll” anyone who should happen to disagree with a moderators’ “party line,” or question his/her misrepresentation of a certain “fact” or situation.
“Trolling” is defined at the Urban Dictionary as “One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.” (http://www.urbandictionary.com.....term=troll). However, since raising any points or objections that seem to conflict in any way, large or small, with their central directives* will be sure to inflame the mods at Democrats.com, anything less than abject agreement with the propaganda of Fertik, Harding, et al., will get you labeled as a troll. At which time they will “politely” suggest that you “go start your own blog if you want to talk about that,” after which they unceremoniously ban you, label you a troll, and go back to spewing vituperous, emotionally loaded rhetoric.
Your comment about some people having come entirely unhinged since 2000 is well taken. Bob Fertik, creator of Democrats.com is one of the most hate-filled persons in the blogosphere, today. His one and only obsession is to see George Bush impeached, and everything that happens in the U.S. domestic and international spheres of influence is filtered, distorted, and modified in Bob Fertik’s mind to serve his obsessive, self-centered agenda.
