Here’s a must-read for today. Norman Podboretz debunks, firmly and finally, the persistent delusion that George Bush lied to get us into Iraq.
No more ever need be said about the facts of the pernicious allegation here on my blog. I, personally, am tired of hearing this hoary tale. At this point in time, the “Bush lied” allegation had been refuted as fully as “the Earth is flat” and “the moon is made of green cheese” and we ought to treat people who believe it like we’d treat folks like David Duke, Lyndon LaRouche, and the disheveled bum on the corner who hold deep conversations with the fire hydrant.
