An Idle Thought on Judge Roberts and Something Not Said
In pondering the wisdom of the New York Times’ investigation into the adoption of Judge Roberts’ children, a question occurred to me.
Why isn’t the fact that Roberts had two adopted children being positively reported among the pro-abortion crowd?
We who are pro-life, hear quite often that we are hypocrites for being pro-life and in favor of relaxed adoptions regulations for not adopting children of our own. Judge Roberts is, as best we can tell, personally pro-life and has two adopted children. He’s living exactly the life that these folks seem to want.
So where’s his cookie? Where’s the praise for having that sort of apparent dedication to his beliefs?
Well, it ain’t there, folks – not even a little. My turn to use the word “hypocrite” now. Instead of questioning Roberts’ motives for adopting his children, as has happened already, perhaps the left ought to give him his due for walking the pro-life walk according to their terms. That or they can put that ridiculous argument to bed once and for all.

If there are children to be adopted, it can surely only mean that there isn't sufficient access to safe, legal and rare abortion. Q.E.D.
