A Watcher’s Roundup

| July 19, 2005 | Comments (0)

Each week, the Watcher’s Council collects the best posts from all over the blogosphere and then votes on them to find out which post is the creme de la creme of the blogging world for that week. We vote on two categories – posts from members of the Council and posts from the rest of the big, wide world of blogging.

Last week’s results were sort of surprising, for me at least. It turns out that my post “I Despair” won in the first category. That surprised me mostly because the post that finished second, an insightful look at how necessary it is for our nation to have a clear view of the nature of evil by the always-readable Gates of Vienna, was so very strong. It most definitely deserves your attention.

Also well-deserving of your attention is a Flash presentation of the death and destruction that al-Qaeda has brought to the world by Winds of Change. If you find your memory a bit fuzzy on what al-Qaeda has done in it’s history, this winning post from the non-Council entries provides a bracing review.
