I read it, and thought maybe the reporter got hooked into writing a piece meant to deflect suspicion off guys who otherwise raise money and supply moral support for people who blow up buses and trains. These enterprising Muslims tell the reporter that it's okay to kill Americans and Brits, as long as they're in clearly defined combat zones. That might sound okay, especially since they said the killing of civilians wasn't proper, but it smells more like a piece of propaganda taken hook, line, and sinker by a reporter hoping to scoop everyone else on a phony baloney schism.
