Catching Up on Council Work

I have some Watchers’ Council catching up to do, which means that you have a bounty of reading coming your way. In the future I hope to move the Watchers’ Council results to a more permanent place on one of my sidebars so it’s always accessible. More on that later.

Here are the results from the May 27th contest:

The non-Council Winners: Blood and Justice from The Indepundit and The Left Isn’t Liberal from No Oil for Pacifists/

The June 3 contest was a much closer-run affair than most and give us all plenty of good reading:
The Council Winner: A Killer in the Shadows from The Right Wing Nuthouse, floowed very closely by I Agree With QandO on Torture from The Glittering Eye and Still in the Thick Of It from Gates of Vienna.
The non-Council Winner: Taking Islam Seriously from Bloggledygook which was nearly overcome by the second place entrants Misinformation Overload: Adult Stem Cell vs. Embryonic Stem Cell Research from TMH’s Bacon Bits and Words Mean Things: Dissecting Foley’s Statements In Search of Meaning from The Word Unheard.

The June 10th contest featured a runaway in the non-Council entries, and a rare lately, anyhow) top two placing from The Shack:
The Council Winner: Remembering Why I Love History from Right Wing Nut House (which is rapidly becoming one of my favorite blogs) and my entry, In A Perfect World, We’d Never Let Her Run.
The non-Council Winner: THIS is a Gulag from Winds of Change (a very strong blog you”’ be seeing more of in another post very soon)
