I've been posting for over five years. I feel your pain. It's tough knowing you've put your heart and soul onto a weblog just to see some "whippersnapper" join the fad and immediately hit it big.

I can't offer any advice, because I too have been frustrated with how to increase readers. Just keep on posting, trackbacking, e-mailing people about your quality posts (send me stuff), and commenting. With some luck you'll get the attention you deserve.

I have two regular readers and I'm linked at one blog. I think there's so many blogs now that to get noticed, you have to be a big deal somewhere else BEFORE you launch a blog. I think there's so many blogs now that to get noticed, you have to be a big deal somewhere else BEFORE you launch a blog. Basically, my blog accomplishes one thing: sharpens my typing skills.
