What’s Good for the Goose, is Good for the Pelosi

Wel, looks like the Republicans in Congress have decided to fight back to defend Tom DeLay, and they’re going on offense.

They’ve asked Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader and one of the folks leading the charge against DeLay to pony up records proving that a trip she took to Puerto Rico wasn’t paid for illegally by a lobbyist.

Seems there are some discrepancies between her records and the records of another Representative who went on the trip with her.

Of course, this has little to nothing to do with the trip itself and everything to do with the “people in glass houses” principle. If Pelosi wants to dredge up dirt on DeLay and make everything he’s done a Grand Media Deal, she’s going to get the same treatment.

And so she should.
