Thus Hyperbolized Dean

You just know that anytime Howard Dean finds a microphone, something quotable’s going to get roared.

He surely didn’t disappoint Friday speaking before a Kansas crowd of about a hundred who paid a hundred bucks a head for a Dean-style pep talk. That particular event was closed to reporters (and I’ll bet you won’t hear any whinnying about that the way you do about the President’s invitation-only speeches), but the Lawrence Journal-World got some choice quotes. You might note his oddly shrill quotes about “tolerance”, but don’t note them long. You’ll get a headache.

Here’s my favorite: “This is a struggle of good and evil. And we’re the good.”

Ah yes, fighting terrorism and tyranny isn’t a struggle of good versus evil but politics…well…that’s different, isn’t it?

Well done Chairman Dean. Remember to toss the dirt you’re shoveling out of that hole you’re in off to the right. If you shovel it to the left you’re going to hit the rest of your party that’s all lined up to jump right in there with you.
