The Votes Are In!

And the Watcher’s Council (of which I’m a member) has voted on their best posts of last week. You can get the full results of the voting and all the worthy entrants right here.

The Council winner this week was a very fine entry from Dr. Sanity called “Challenger – A Flight Surgeon Remembers”. It’s a touching and well-done firsthand account of the explosion of the Space Shuttle “Challenger” and a plea not to give up on space.

The non-Council winner this week was Cold Fury’s “Spelling it Out”, a once-and-for-all takedown of the insipid “Bush Lied” arguments against Iraq and the War on Terror. I wish I could laminate it and keep it in my pocket so every time I heard someone parrot the dead, tired arguments I could hand them a copy of this post.
