RIP Ossie Davis

The Washington Post is reporting today that actor and civil rights crusader has died at the age of 87.

Davis was a superlative actor and narrator, a loving partner of one of the most celebrated celebrity marriages ever (with his wife, the equally-talented Ruby Dee), and a storied and active supporter of civil rights (known for delivering the eulogy for Malcolm X).

He and his wife had recently been honored at the Kennedy Center for their achievements.
