A Holiday Question

Turducken.

Why?

Is not a turkey enough? Well, okay. Maybe you could convince me that a turkey’s not quite enough fowl meat for you so sure, we could stuff a duck into a turkey. Who wouldn’t have their carnivorous urges sated by that?

A lot of people, apparently.

So, the answer seems to be to stuff a chicken inside the duck that’s already inside the turkey.

And sausage stuffing, too??

Tune into the footballe game tomorrow afternoon on Fox and you’re going to hear John Maddes waxing philosophically (or at least as philosophically as one can wax while drooling hungrily all over a Brooks Brothers’ shirt) about the Turducken.

But not me. I just don’t get it.

If you do, though, that link has a good recipe for making your own Turducken. Even Cajun-style.

This was the big topic last year here at the office. Someone even threatened to bring some in at this year's pot luck. Luckily for us, and our poor hearts, turducken did not make an appearance.
